http://wlteam.blogspot.com/2009/10/cheering-from-sidelines.html
Sunday, October 18, 2009. Cheering from the Sidelines. And take care of myself; but I am not used to being outside the vortex and to actually having time. To reflect on things happening in my profession. That being said, reading Joyce Valenza's blog post, My 2.0 day and the response/rant about our cover argument. Thanks to a heads up from Cathy Nelson. And various Judge shows! I am surprised and not surprised by the responses to Joyce's article and responses Doug Johnson received in his Blue Skunk blog.

Wired Librarian: Shout It Off the Rooftop!
http://wlteam.blogspot.com/2010/12/shout-it-off-rooftop.html
Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Shout It Off the Rooftop! First, I lost the weight, which for me was a big accomplishment. I'm by no means skinny (LOL), but I am at least comfortable in my own skin. OK, enough about that. More important - In November I was invited to the SLJ Leadership Summit. In Chicago. That was such an honor. I came back from that so inspired. I loved hanging around with superstar librarians and others - like Wendy Stephens, Joyce Valenza. Gwyneth Jones, Rocco Staino, and Kathy Parker.
