Grace and Mercy in Abundance. Saturday, February 16, 2013. Not sure what got into me. I might have been in the kitchen for 7 hours today! From reorganizing the tupperware/cookware/spices racks. Yes, we need a whole tub of granola! To be baked tomorrow morning (they will chill in fridge overnight). Can't do all this for so long without any music! So this is love. Devoted wife, new mother, aspiring grown up.all in a day's work. Thursday, June 2, 2011. 34 weeks and counting. This Saturday I'll be 34 weeks pregnant and it's really starting to sink in that within the next 6 weeks(ish) I will be holding my little girl in my arms instead of feeling her move in my belly! Ya know, 3 years ago I was single and happy with no immediate thoughts about marriage and babies and here I am, married one year (in about 10 days) and only 6 weeks from being a MOM!

Grace and Mercy in Abundance. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. A few hours before take-off. Been up trying to get some last minute stuff finished (yes, there is always last minute stuff left somehow.). These last few weeks of getting ready (especially this past weekend) has just flown by. I look forward to the plane ride where I hope to spend time reading through the many notes I haven't even gotten a chance to open and to reflect on God's faithfulness - I don't deserve all this! And the time FLIES by- it's been almost 5 months since my precious Grace arrived and we've enjoyed every minute. She's drooling, talking, laughing, squealing, drooling, grabbing, reaching, smiling, DROOLING- she's so adorable. And my favorite go-to for an easy and delicious dinner is my yummy crockpot lasagna! Spoon one...

So this is love. Devoted wife, new mother, aspiring grown up.all in a day's work. Monday, March 28, 2011. Chad and I had a WONDERFUL weekend away this past weekend. We stayed at the BlueGreen Resort in Pigeon Forge and we just loved having time away from everyone/everything and sharing special quality time together :) It was definitely needed. While we were there we hit up some of the outlet stores and found some A-DORABLE clothes for Gracie! Okmaybe not.or.maybe.). Lord, make me worthy of Your love!

So this is love. Devoted wife, new mother, aspiring grown up.all in a day's work. Friday, July 22, 2011. 5 days early from her due date, but I'm not complaining :) Here's her birth story for anyone who is interested: Whew! 4am we were on our way. My contractions were moving into the 3-4 minute range at this point and it was a 45 minute drive to the hospital on a 2 lane road so we had a fun little adventure getting there. Hard and all in my back and it was just so excruciating. The relief was WELCOME.
