Plants for Tucson Watergardens. Jean lewis, sue philpott, jay evenson. I am afraid many of the plants shown in this presentation are now on the list of INVASIVE EXOTICS which are endangering our native species. A supplement is in the planning stages which will have all native plants. More to come as presentations or programs become available. Looking for someone interested in recording programs. Please email if you have a camcorder and would like to sit at the back of the room during the meetings.

Tribulations of the Novice Desert Gardener. Enter your search terms. Sunday, March 22, 2009. Trying Again In 2009. I'm trying a different approach to my little garden this year. I have this giant pot and I moved it to the north side of my RV so that it will get some shade. The tomato plant finally died. Actually, something ate it. I'm not sure what it was but it was completely gone one day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Baby Poplar Tree. Violas, Pansies, and Vinca. Desert Plants and Wildflowers.

Daizy's Desert Garden: Garden Update For November
http://daizysdesertgarden.blogspot.com/2008/11/garden-update-for-november.html
Tribulations of the Novice Desert Gardener. Enter your search terms. Sunday, November 9, 2008. Garden Update For November. Here's my little garden. Looks kind of dead. The tomato plant that I thought had died at least 3 times now, has started producing tomatoes again. Poor thing. I should have pruned it so it wasn't so gangly. I didn't realize it would try to grow again. The squash worms got the squash. I was disappointed. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Baby Poplar Tree. Violas, Pansies, and Vinca.

Daizy's Desert Garden: May 2008
http://daizysdesertgarden.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Tribulations of the Novice Desert Gardener. Enter your search terms. Sunday, May 18, 2008. Starting The Spring Mini-Harvest. The mini-garden is still alive. I have to water it everyday by hand because I don't have the a drip system I suppose I could set up some sort of drip system by hanging a container on the fence and connecting it to drip hose. Since I use recycled washing machine water I prefer to water the plants from the bottom to keep any bacteria away from the edibles. Saturday, May 3, 2008.
