About The Choir

The choir was formed by Barbara Miller and George Horne in September 1984 and. Grew rapidly from an initial 10 members to it’s current size of 30 to 40, drawn. From across the York and Selby areas. The first public performances were at the Escrick Music Hall and St Helens Church. In 1985. Our repertoire has grown over the years to include a wide variety of. Popular and light classical music (we have over 300 items in our library) as well as. Smaller group pieces performed by choir members.
