Preemie babies have to be taught to do all this especially bottle feeding. Full term babies have the "suck, swallow, breathe complex" but babies born before 34-35 weeks usually have to learn to suck and most importantly learn to breathe between sucks/swallows so they do not choke. The lab called and said that a result from a sample they took a month ago showed another kind of infection. SERIOUSLY? I seriously have no idea why or how things happen anymore, I am just living each day as it comes with no expectations. The good news is he is doing awesome! Just keep us in your prayers and hopefully he can have his surgery soon and come home!

The Adventures of the Tukua Family. August 27, 2010 · 4:52 am. So we made it to full term this past Saturday! I came off bedrest last Friday and was in so much pain! By the end of the day, I thought there was no way I was going to last more than a couple of days…but here we are, a week later and Gavin is still cookin’. I am beyond thrilled to be where we are at now. Being off bedrest is AMAZING! August 14, 2010 · 6:31 pm. I am 36 weeks today! August 8, 2010 · 3:29 am. I just hope we can make it there.
