We are five weeks and six days pregnant with a singleton measuring CRL 2.6mm. The due date is April 21, 2011. While we were a bit early to see a heartbeat, the doctor said all looked as it should. For those of you that don't know, rice cereal is essentially rice that has been pulverized to a fine, flat, dust. You mix it with formula and it forms a sort of white paste. So, after years and years - it's all done! We're are now officially, completely, legally R's parents! We also got to see R's birthmother and sister while we are there. SOOO great seeing them. Lost in Alaska
Thursday, August 6, 2015. Bound for Adak Alaska. We brought camping gear and hiking gear. Maps. Cameras. Food. Wine. The usual kit for a week long adventure. Members of Club 49, Alaska Airlines lets us check three bags, up to 50lbs each, for free. Our friends will be happy to unpack fresh groceries. For now, waiting in the Anchorage airport, boarding in an hour, we're just hoping the fog and 30 knot winds clear so our flight doesn't have to circle the Bering Sea too many times.
