Reverently Irrelevant: Not Too Much Longer
http://jakeblakeney.blogspot.com/2011/04/not-too-much-longer.html
In some weird way, it seems that in order to offer true hope, true peace, and true truth.we must not become more relevant to the culture that we live in, but we must, in fact, become irrelevant. Friday, April 15, 2011. Not Too Much Longer. About 15 years ago I read No Compromise. Where, o death, is your victory? Where, o death, is your sting? I didnt realize that was where you worked. Many of our hearts here at Ada are breaking for them. Thanks for sharing this, Jake. April 16, 2011 at 5:34:00 PM EST.

Ka·lei·do·scope 1. A series of changing phases or events: a kaleidoscope of illusions. Tuesday, January 15, 2008. I have done a substantial amount of thinking about my future these past few weeks. i have come to several conclusions. First, i want to change the world. with God's help, i intend to do so. I don't know that it will work. it is a risk. but the idealism of youth has stuck with me, and i will not be satisfied with less. and so i'm. Labels: all about me. Tuesday, January 01, 2008. Ka·lei·do·scope 1. A series of changing phases or events: a kaleidoscope of illusions. Tuesday, June 26, 2007. The weight of suffering. I carry the weight of others' suffering deep within me. at times i think i carry it deeper than they themselves may feel or recognize. I guess i do think there is a purpose: if nothing else a purpose of reflecting the God who carries the burden of our suffering, who holds it deeply to his heart, who reaches out to touch us in our pain. jb and me: April goes to Washington
http://jbhuntandme.blogspot.com/2010/06/april-goes-to-washington.html
Wednesday, June 2, 2010. April goes to Washington. A couple of weeks ago JB and I went to Washington D.C. to visit his bro Austin and our new(er) SIL Lauren. I had never been to D.C. before, and as someone who likes America and History and Family, I was set to have a good time. Here's our Top 10, chosen by me (you'll be able to identify the usual suspects in most photos, but Lauren is the ghost in the long shot of the Lincoln Memorial):. Which is what people like to do! Puppies, puppies, puppies. And was...

Monday, January 25, 2010. Baby Olivia saw Dr. Hofman today for her 15-month checkup, so I thought I'd post a little update. Dr Hofman said that, "She's the best one out there! And said that I could share that. So there. He DOES think she's the best baby ever (but probably after his own kids and grandkids, naturally- though he didn't clarify that.). She's taller than the average 2-year-old. And not quite that heavy, but close enough. He gave her a clean bill of health. Here's what she's been up to. But Ha...
