Taking Nothing for Granted: December 2008
http://davelizandmadee.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 22, 2008. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. To start the trip off, we were late getting to the airport and missed the one hour before flight arrival requirement. The computers would not let us print our tickets and it looked like we were not going to make it. Finally, a really nice Delta employee helped us out and printed our tickets for us. We made it! When we got to Cabo Dave realizes that he left his driver's license at home so I had to rent the car which also meant I had to drive! 1 Walk from ...

Taking Nothing for Granted: Back to work :(
http://davelizandmadee.blogspot.com/2010/08/back-to-work.html
Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Back to work :(. I had to start back to work last week. I will have to say that it was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I spent the week leading up to it crying my eyes out every day. My heart hurt so bad every time I thought about it. These were some of the thoughts going through my mind:. Kids grow up SO fast (I know from experience with Madison starting middle school! With all that said, I made it through the first day after many, many tears. And each day...

Taking Nothing for Granted: So much to share...
http://davelizandmadee.blogspot.com/2010/07/so-much-to-share.html
Friday, July 23, 2010. So much to share. So much has happened since my last post. Which is probably why I haven't posted. Life has gotten a whole lot busier! So I'm going to try to touch on the main events of the last several months:. I'll come back to that later). When we got to the hospital around 9:00 pm they checked me in and the nurse got me into the triage room. When she checked me she said I was almost 5 cm and my water had broken already! He has a ton of hair! We ended up finding a great house th...

Taking Nothing for Granted: March 2009
http://davelizandmadee.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 13, 2009. I went to the doctor about a month ago (ob/gyn) because I had been having some spotting between my periods. It has been going on for quite a while and it was becoming more noticeable. So my doctor ordered a sonogram just to be on the safe side (I'm really not even sure what she was looking for). So the next Friday I went in to have my sonogram. In the middle of the procedure the lady doing the sonogram very bluntly blurts out, "You have a huge cyst on your ovary! Rick, Amy and Cody.

Taking Nothing for Granted: September 2009
http://davelizandmadee.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 10, 2009. We're Gonna Have a BABY! For a split second I thought about all the neat ideas that I had gone over in my head of how I would tell Dave when the time came. But I quickly realized I was not going to be able to keep this in. no way! So I went into our bedroom where Dave was peacefully sleeping (and could have continued for another 45 minutes.ooops) and said, "Dave wake-up, I'm pregnant! The look she gave him was priceless- like "What are you talking about you crazy man! So I c...

http://davelizandmadee.blogspot.com/2010/01/getting-ready.html
Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Dave and I (and our friends Patrick and Kristen:)dedicated most of our Saturday to finishing up our baby registry. We went to Babies R Us a couple of weeks ago but were unable to finish registering for ALL the necessary items (which is A LOT) so we finished that up and also registered at The Baby's Room. I am so happy to have finally made a decision! Here a some pics of the crib and dresser and my ever growing belly:. Posted by Dave, Liz and Madee. January 26, 2010 at 11:22 PM.

Taking Nothing for Granted: June 2009
http://davelizandmadee.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 11, 2009. Can't believe that I'm even typing the words- Madison's 10th birthday! Where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday I was holding this little, sweet, red-headed baby in my arms. For those of you who have small children- babies, toddlers- enjoy every minute of it! I think grannies say stuff like that because they've. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is guilty of this. If only we (I) could be completely content with what is going on right now. Pictures of Madison's as a lit...

Taking Nothing for Granted: New Year's 2010
http://davelizandmadee.blogspot.com/2010/01/new-years-2010.html
Saturday, January 2, 2010. For New Year's this year, Dave and I and 8 of our friends went to my parent's cabin in North GA. We rode 4 wheelers, played on the rope swing, went for a couple of hikes, played games, cooked yummy food, sat by the fire, and generally just had a good time. It was FREEZING cold! It got down to 14 degrees. When we woke up on Saturday morning it was snowing outside! It was pretty exciting since it may be the only snow we see in GA this year! Posted by Dave, Liz and Madee.

Taking Nothing for Granted: 4 months
http://davelizandmadee.blogspot.com/2010/08/4-months.html
Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Anderson will be 4 months old this weekend. I can't believe it. It had gone by so fast. He is such a happy baby. Here are some of his accomplishments and interests:. He sleeps from about 7:30 pm- 5 am (he has been doing that for a long time). He just rolled over today both ways (back to stomach and stomach to back). He drinks about 5 oz. of milk every 3 hours. I smiles and laughs (a lot). He can hold his head up very well and can sit in his jumper and exersaucer. Back to work :(.
