Cool: I know this is only a rough measurement (I should probably buy a light meter) but what is the consensus on the minimum for SPS Coral? That would give you 5 watts per gallon which is pretty descent for a good variety of corals. Hi there, introducing myself to the forum in this thread. What do you think?

I have used the strip plugs for a long time with no issue. The key to my workings is the fact that the lugs are away from the water, they are covered by a large piece of wood and nothing is obstructing them. I hope that it worked out for the man and I am sorry that the kitty did not make it!
