Thursday, November 20, 2008. I must say I've just completed the most enjoyable semester so far. We actually had the chance to make. Stuff, instead of following pre-written recipes! It's also hard to complain when your first programming project is to write a game (albeit a very simplistic one). *grin*. Yes, I'm a kid who's been given heaps of toys. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. From my encounter with a telemarketer. I learnt that I can't converse in Chinese. The girl rang when I was home alone. At this point, I recalled Mum's frequent advice regarding telemarketers: "Don't entertain them, you're just wasting your time and theirs. Just hang up. Done! But for the heck of it, I decided to continue talking anyway. Her first question was, "请问你会讲国语吗? May I ask if you speak Mandarin? Confidently, I answered, "会呵." ("Yep."). So I said goodbye.
