Laume's Studio: December 2009
http://laumesstudio.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. Doodling with Joli. She's studying my additions to her artwork. Hey, he's drinking a cup of tea. No. That's cahhhh-fee. A lady monster and a spider with chubby legs. A blue full moon for New Year's Eve. Friday, December 25, 2009. Remember when I said I was going to make something for everyone this year but I was running out of time and Hubby suggested I give everyone a stick. No? Well, maybe I said it somewhere else. Facebook probably. Tuesday, December 22, 2009. I finally ma...

Laume's Studio: October 2010
http://laumesstudio.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 18, 2010. Let's play a game called "Guess Where I Was While I Was Sketching This". Learned something - I'm right handed so I should work from left to right. I was just sort of working all over the place and when I stopped I realized I'd completely smudged the right side of the sketch. Sunday, October 17, 2010. Hi Yeah. Long time no see. Laume's Studio: July 2011
http://laumesstudio.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 31, 2011. I was blessed with a brand new granddaughter last week and while I was down helping my daughter for a wee bit with cooking and cleaning and what not, I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with some beautiful wee faeries, Olivia and Anastasia. Enjoy the magic. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Silly and whimsical kitties. More whimsy, and of course Halloween theme caught my eye! Pink AND faeries - Joli loved it. I liked the thin, soft, minkee backing and the butterfly quilting choices.

Laume's Studio: May 2010
http://laumesstudio.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 17, 2010. I'll just let you browse through some of my favorites. Moving from circles to straight lines, here's some lovely shadow images I'd also like to use as a starting point. And now for something completely different -. At least, that's what they look like to me. I had the very disconcerting feeling that they were staring at me while I was staring at them. For more amazing plants and garden scenes - check out some more photos I took at the San Diego Botanical Gardens on Beach Treasure.

Laume's Studio: February 2010
http://laumesstudio.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 21, 2010. Did I tell you about the day I walked into the local art gallery last month and spied a lovely hat in the items for sale? I was taken by it so I tried it on. It fit perfectly. I wore it about the gallery while I looked at the most recent painting show, pondering whether I should buy it. Did I really NEED another hat? I even went in the bathroom to see how I looked in it. Rather cute, I thought, if I do say so myself. Xx - hand felted tea cozy". The tea cozy hat! My card reader ...

Laume's Studio: March 2010
http://laumesstudio.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 31, 2010. I'm finally posting that second round of photos from the wonderful sculpting beach retreat I promised you. Mostly just shots I snapped of all the amazing creatures in various stages of being created. After they were sculpted and baked, there was painting, embellishing, and dressing to be done. I love how much some (most! Of these totems ended up looking like their people. Or, if not physically similar, had the same personality. Such good advice for any adventure or goal. I did ...

Laume's Studio: November 2009
http://laumesstudio.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 29, 2009. Apologizing for not posting is becoming an annoying habit. So I won't. I'll just jump back in -. The next question becomes, what do I want to decorate? How do I want to decorate? If I want to make a big impact, I should pick a style and go with it. Colorful fun retro? White and glittery frosty? Whimsical pastels or Faery Bling? The other night I caught a show on HGTV - 25 Great Holiday Ideas. Of course when it comes down to it, if I manage to decorate at all, it will undoubtedl...

Friday, February 18, 2011. Being a night owl, I kept my comments open until midnight last night, certain that I could choose the winner immediately after. Alas, the weather gremlins had other plans and were out in the snowstorm knocking down power lines and running the poor electrical company crew workers a merry chase. Let's hope the workers appreciated both the overtime pay and the magical sparkling snow illuminated by a full moon. Here she was last night peeking out between a thin spot in the clouds.

Beach Treasure: Totally Toadstools? Mostly Mushrooms?
http://beachtreasure.blogspot.com/2012/05/totally-toadstools-mostly-mushrooms.html
Saturday, May 12, 2012. Today was all about fungi, toadstools, mushrooms. whatever these earthy little habitats are called. We went out intending to attend some of the Wine and Wings Festival events - hiking, talks, wine tasting. But apparently we arrived too late for most of the activities. But not before I took a few photos of this wee fae condo. Or perhaps it was a mansion for just one fae family. In any case, it was quite grand. Posted by Laume at 8:23 PM. That fae condo is fabulous! Be Yourself, Eve...
