Sunday, August 24, 2008. Obama tries to appeal to Lutherans in Wisconsin. Sen Barack Obama went to church today. And because he was in Eau Claire, Wisc, of course he wanted to appeal to the largest protestant denomination in the state. Obama went to First Lutheran Church (ELCA) and I have not heard if he took communion.
