small time modeler: March 2009
http://smalltimemodeller.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 26, 2009. Here are some pics of Bronco´s Humber Scout Car which I finished last year. Labels: Humber Scout Car. Current project: Sandbagged Sherman. This is something I started about 4 years ago and I haven´t touched it in 3 years. I used a Tamiya hull and the racks with sandbags were made using Miliput and Evergreen plastic strips. At the beginning of this year I restarted this project. Some details were added to the hull and I made racks with sandbags on a Italeri 76mm turret. With this...

http://smalltimemodeller.blogspot.com/2011/05/harley-rider-4.html
Saturday, May 21, 2011. The bike is nearly done now, still some work to do on the gun scabbard and the bags and that's about it. MiniArt did a good job, I really enjoy building this kit. small time modeler: Stickman on a hog.
http://smalltimemodeller.blogspot.com/2011/04/stickman-on-hog.html
Monday, April 25, 2011. Stickman on a hog. I've made a bit more progress with the Harley rider. A pair of hands was added to the wire arms and matched with the steering bar. Next will be fleshing out the limbs and fixing the pose permanently. This will require the most sculpting I've ever done on a figure, hopefully things will work out. April 26, 2011 at 7:28 PM. small time modeler: November 2010
http://smalltimemodeller.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 26, 2010. I added some more mud, this time the tracks and glacis received a mixture of Vallejo paints, talcum powder and acrylic medium. Somehow I managed to knock of the holder of the right-headlight-plug and the MG-clamp from the turret roof (that part got lost arghh. I spend hours scratching that). Labels: DML M4A1 75mm. Here's a, much overdue, update. Painting is done with Vallejo acrylics, which is a first for me. The figure in its new home. The tank received it's first coat of paint.

http://smalltimemodeller.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 31, 2011. With the vehicle done it's time for some ground work. I want to make a piece of road with one or more trees along the side. So I started with some trees. Labels: DML M4A1 75mm. Sunday, January 30, 2011. DML M4A1 75mm done. I am calling this tank done, the last bits were painted and an MV lens was used for the right headlight. Its the first time I used one of these lenses and it really looks great. Anyhow here are the pics. The tank is ready, next thing will be a dressed up base.

small time modeler: Harley rider (3)
http://smalltimemodeller.blogspot.com/2011/04/harley-rider-3.html
Thursday, April 28, 2011. The limbs are fleshed out with some magic sculp. The trousers are almost done. I mixed a tiny bit of Vallejo black with the putty just to check that both parts of the putty are throughly mixed. Still have to do some cleaning up and find a way of smoothing the surface a bit. small time modeler: February 2011
http://smalltimemodeller.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 6, 2011. The past view days I've been working on some trees to dress up the base I'm planning. I made two trees but only one will end up on the base. I spent about 2 or 3 evenings adding dried roots to the first structure (just a couple of twigs glued together) but I could have spent weeks to get a beter result. The white stuff in the picture is Das airdrying modeling clay. Labels: DML M4A1 75mm. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jason Whitman's Historical Miniatures. Műanyag - Tégla - Törmelék.
