Life can be interesting. First Day of School. October 3, 2011. Its getting tough to get a real smile out of this big boy any more. It’s all about HI-YA! With ninja moves, and scary tough guy faces. But, underneath it all is a very determined little boy who wants to be a good boy at school. Carter was very excited about his first day of school. He got up at the crack of dawn and picked this new outfit out himself. He was all dressed and ready to go before we even woke up! 8221; It was that good I guess!

Life can be interesting. May 24, 2011. Happy Birthday to my sweet little boy! JM: “Probably the same bud.” Carter: “What? But I will be 5, and a big boy! 8221; Carter thought he would physically change into a BIG BOY. So funny! The next morning as he got out of the shower he looked into the mirror very intensly trying to find some sort of change in his appearance. He told us that he didn’t look any different now that he was 5. It really puzzled him. Ha Ha! I had to write this down because it was so cute!

Life can be interesting. A much needed family update. July 16, 2011. I’ve been kinda lazy on the blog. Here’s an update on what we’ve been up to:. First lets talk Evelyn. She is such a treat to have in our family. She was kind of a colicky baby at first, but her sweet personality comes out more and more each day. Here’s what we know about her:. She’s super cute (well that’s a given). She loves to be swaddled before bed. She loves her brothers, and gives lots of smiles to Carter especially. He came out a ...

Life can be interesting. Archive for January, 2012. January 18, 2012. I know I haven’t updated my blog in sooo long. I am hoping one day to have time between mothering, working, JM never home due to studying for the bar, and working on my side business xsmatter.com. One day…. But I had to post this quote from Carter tonight so I will always remember it. It was a very smart but sassy statement about the rules in our house. This is Carter’s quote after being scolded tonight for doing something naughty.

Life can be interesting. Evelyn’s Blessing Day. June 9, 2011. I’m always filled with gratitude on my children’s blessing day. Probably because I have all my family around me to welcome to the world our newest arrival. This time wasn’t any different. My sister Janelle, Grandma, and my parents came for a fun weekend to visit with Evelyn. Everyone except my mom hadn’t met her yet. It was fun to show her off. My kids loved spending time with Grandma and Grandpa! All in all it was a wonderful day and weekend!

Life can be interesting. A much needed family update. First Day of School. October 3, 2011. Everyone did great and Michael had a special day. After the movie I drove him to the Disney store where he got to pick out a Cars 2 toy. He picked out Lightening McQueen of course! A few days later (after finals) J.M. was able to celebrate with us and we had a small family BBQ with a few friends. It was perfect. Here are some of Michael’s favorite people who attended:. A happy birthday boy! Feed for this Entry.

Schill's Thrills: Edinburgh

Tuesday, June 14, 2011. He would have loved them! Long as possible. It really was fun to sit in a booth looking out the window right at Edinburgh Castle, and imagining it to be the original inspiration for Hogwarts. The bathrooms seem to have become a bit of a shrine, with the doors to the stalls covered in notes to Rowling and quotes from the books. I would love to know their secret. Many thanks to them for their kindness and amazing hospitality! We hope they will be able to visit us in the future.

Schill's Thrills: March 2012
http://schillsthrills.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 17, 2012. Happy St. Patrick's Day! In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I am actually going to post the blog entry I wrote of our visit to Ireland. It is long, I know, but we had a lot of fun there! 8221; We introduced them to the game Wackee Six, and watched Grace transform from a sweet girl to a fierce competitor with a bit of a sailor’s tongue! She had us laughing! Maybe some of the “luck o’ the Irish” has rubbed off on us! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
