Classic Systems, Contemporary Gear. Back from the Vintage Computer Festival – East 9.1! On Apr.11, 2014, under Computer Shows. I just returned from a 2102 mile roundtrip excursion to the Vintage Computer Festival – East 9.1 at InfoAge in Wall Township, NJ. Having been prevented from holding the show in 2013, the VCF-E organizers went all out for the 2014 show, supporting 2 exhibit halls and a separate speaker presentation tent. I camped out in the vendor hall with our products on display. Http:/ www....

Liber809: Liber809 at the CoCoFest
http://liber809.blogspot.com/2012/05/liber809-at-cocofest.html
A blog about my exploits in getting the Motorola 6809 microprocessor mated to the Atari XEGS (and beyond). Thursday, May 24, 2012. Liber809 at the CoCoFest. This past weekend I attended the 21st Annual Chicago CoCoFest. And brought over the Atari 130XE as well as a passel of assemble Liber809 boards. Interest in the project was high even though attendance was obviously geared toward the Color Computer. Currently, we have plans to attend both VCF Southwest. And the VCF Midwest. Ye Olde Infocomme Shoppe - What's New?
http://yois.if-legends.org/whatsnew.php
What's New at Ye Olde Infocomme Shoppe? Here's what's changed at Ye Olde Infocomme Shoppe during the past month:. Just to clarify, I was referring to the business software and IBM promotional materials, trying to gauge if there was any interest here for that. Any worthwhile games will eventually end up on the Shoppe or BetterThanTheBay. In August, following a reasonably successful Saturday of vintage game hunting in the west Chicago suburbs, wherein I scored an Infocom Science Fiction Classics. If you're...

The VCF COSMAC ELF -- a retrocomputer for the VCF-MW 11 Vintage Computer Festival Midwest 2016
http://www.sunrise-ev.com/vcf-elf.htm
Build A Classic COSMAC ELF Microcomputer. At the 2016 Vintage Computer Festival Midwest. The August 1976 issue of Popular Electronics magazine had a breakthrough project on the cover. "The COSMAC ELF: A microcomputer trainer that's powerful, expandable, and costs as little as $80." (Click on the magazine cover to read the original article.) To put this in perspective, the Apple I was selling for $666.66 at the time; and the Apple II didn't even exist yet! The ELF truly was. Project - no soldering at all!

Emergency Chicagoland Commodore Convention 2016
http://starbase.globalpc.net/eccc
ECCC Chicago Expo, Saturday and Sunday, September 10-11, 2016. The pomps and distractions of the bourgeoisie may drown out our voices in the interim, but the causes of freedom and comradeship will not be denied in times of direst need! ECCC is the world's top late-summer destination for Commodore enjoyment, including the C64, Vic-20, PET, 16/Plus4, and probably even Amiga stuff. It is also the only one with comedy pseudo-Soviet rhetoric. Saturday September 10 and Sunday September 11. 9 AM - 4 PM Sunday.
