Not the only one . . . Wednesday, 18 July 2012. I'm not exactly sure how our youngest came to be known as The Goo, (it's likely my fault) but we embraced the nickname, as did he, so it stuck! He turned 11 last week so it was time to celebrate! Since Goo is a summer baby he has often had fairly extravagant birthday parties. Not the only one . . . Sunday, 7 August 2011. The drive home from Frontier is 5 hours. Sometimes it seems like a never ending journey and other times it becomes a great place/time to process things I've pushed off for awhile. This June was a complete blur! Not the only one . . . Tuesday, 17 April 2012. This Spring Break we travelled to Radium BC with my parents and my nephew. We had a wonderful time exploring, hiking, and playing games. I also managed to hook the rest of the family on Instagram (YAY! There was a lot of picture taking and photo sharing. Here are some highlights . . . We did 2 or 3 hikes and saw lots of amazing scenery! We hiked through spring and then through winter, all in the same hike! This isn't the salad bar? What a gift a holiday is!

Not the only one . . . Thursday, 1 December 2011. It's Been Awhile :( and Creative Expression #2. Oh my blog . . . how I've missed you! It's been too long. Dang November gets me every year! It's a crazy time for teachers. Hustling through curriculum, chasing kids around for their work, marking, making comments, writing progress reports, meeting with students and parents.
