In 2011, the Village of Butte was awarded a NAHTF Housing grant from the State of Nebraska to purchase, rehabilitate and resell two houses in the village limits. The Program Income generated from this grant is currently used to provide Down-Payment Assistance to qualified persons wanting to purchase a house within the Butte community. All interested parties are encouraged to contact the Village Office, 402-775-2426 to obtain more information and an application.

Established in 1803, Cadiz is the County Seat of Harrison County Ohio.
