Monday, October 3, 2011. I started the bike but the mist was so thick, I had to take my sunglasses off. Then I got to the hills. It was ridiculous. At any given point you were either going up or down a hill. Almost no flat biking. I was aiming for 1 hour for the 14 mile bike but ended up with 1.5 hours. I couldn't feel my toes at the end. Monday, December 27, 2010. We had to do some work on the shelves in the baby's room. Here is Little Rufus helping Daddy find the studs to put the screws in. He is just a little off. Well before we knew it, it was Christmas Eve. Here is Little Rufus posing with his new pajamas in front of the Christmas tree. Just wait until he sees what Santa will bring him. He also got the IXL and loves it. He snuck out of nap to get the IXL to play with too. (IXL is like Nintendo DS for toddlers). It was very funny.

We started our month with what appears to be our new annual tradition of going to Rufus Grandma's for the 4th of July weekend and meeting Ed, Anna Beth, and kids in Blacksburg for the 4th for a walk of campus and a parade. Monday, February 21, 2011. New Play Set and First Tubby. We spent most of the weekend working on the new play set for the boys, although it will probably be a while before Emmett plays on it. Lil Rufus loves it. He started playing on it before it was even complete and before that we got him to play in the boxes. Big Rufus got my friend Haylee's son to help considering I'm still not supposed to lift anything bigger than the baby. Here is the final product. And as you can see Lil Rufus is very excited.

After I brought the engine home, I started to cut and grind out the right front frame rail of the body. It took a bunch of spot weld cutting, but I got it loose. The Griggs Family Adventures. Tuesday, November 27, 2012. We went to Disney this past week and had a blast. Even with 12 hour park days, walking until our feet lost all feeling, both kids FIGHTING constantly, and telling off random people from all over the world - we still had a great time. It was also exhausting. Pure exhausting. I still feel like I'm getting back to normal. But the kids had a blast so it was worth every penny. And you'll need lots of pennies because there ain't nothing cheap at Disney!

The Griggs Family Adventures. Monday, July 20, 2015. We took the kids on a FIVE night cruise to the Bahamas. Other than the room being way too small for the four of us, we had a great time. We stopped in Nassau and Freeport. We decided to snorkel in Nassau. It was wonderful! I suggest snorkeling to anyone going on a cruise. It's just that much fun. We did a private beach day in Freeport. The water was crystal clear. Nothing like what we see at the beach. Kids at the grand staircase. Mandy and Al =).
