Blogging about our life while we wait for our son to come home from south korea. Asymp; 2 Comments. So, while i’m feeling positive this morning i thought i had better go ahead and write a post! These are some positive things that i have thought of lately regarding the lengthened wait: (warning, some are materialistic). 1) i’m learning to pray more. 2) i’m developing friendships with other waiting mamas. 3) i was able to take a promotion at work. 4) we will be able to save more money. Asymp; 8 Comments.

Following other korean adoption blogs.all on one blog. Bloggers who came home in 2011. About Me and About this Blogroll. Mar 11, 2012. A few updates to the reader. I'm sorry I haven't made too many changes and updates to the reader since last fall. I guess with the EPs stalled and no TCs, it was a bit saddening to post no news and letting this reader lay fallow. EPs have started up again so I am excited about making a new category: HOME IN 2012. I hope the EPs keep flowing and the TCs get posted soon!

waiting for marigolds: intersections of faith, identity, & sociology
Waiting for marigolds: intersections of faith, identity, and sociology. 27: A Sessioned Soul …. It’s a lot of fun being a sociologist! The creativity that our discipline potentially taps into is boundless! Oh, but that one darn word –. Creativity often remains unseen in sociology, at least in my opinion. And, often, I am left feeling creativily uninspired by rationalized theories and methodologies, that I allow my right brain to shrivle, akin to an unwatered succulent. Link to Shelly Bell’s. Friday, September 26, 2014. I don't know when it happened. In the blink of an eye 3rd year clerkships have ended, fourth year sub-internships are done and residency applications have been submitted. The stress of passing boards and the endless waiting for interview offers to roll in are hopefully to blame. Posted by FutureD octor. Tick, tick, tic...

Friday, August 14, 2015. Every once in a while I stumble upon a South African creative that just sticks with me. When I found illo, I thought it was illustrations designed by someone in far off Scandinavia. I was obsessed and would scroll through the brand's twitter feed, just staring at the intricate details of the hand-illustrated sketches. I had to know more. How surpised was I when I learnt that illo was started by a Cape Townian,. Vivienne van Deventer,. Who works as an illustration artist from home.
