Monday, August 18, 2014. First day of first grade. Sunday, August 3, 2014. My uncle Alan has a lovely house with a beautiful Japanese garden. The koi pond is very popular with the kids - Al gives them each a cup of fish food and the fish jump all around. There might have been some other feeding going on as well. Saturday, November 29, 2014. We flew out of a gate that was down a hall at SFO that we had never noticed before - it was like going to Hogwarts. There was some art. Tuesday, January 28, 2014. We bought a new car! Its a MICROVAN (which is Mazda5 Matketing speak for well, its a minivan but its so small that you can pretend its just a hatchback). Honestly, its actually a really cool car and it understands me - I can say call prickly grandpa and it dials my dad! Small miracles.
