If you hate ghost towns, you may as well not bother to read this post.because my second day stops across New Mexico and Texas consisted of fuel stops and ghost towns. I became the expert at looking ahead on my gps to which little obscure towns were coming next and then googling them, seeing if there was any old interesting history or if the town looked pretty blah.

There is a town in California near the Pacific Coast Highway called Solvang. I visited it the other day, and absolutely loved the place! Apparently awhile ago, a large group of Danish settlers came out west and built this town. They built it exactly like back home in Denmark, so there are windmills and the style of houses and streets are totally Danish. The place was adorable!

I had a very Merry Christmas in 2014. :) I hung out with my parents on Christmas Eve and then went to our church Christmas candlelight service in the evening. On Christmas day, my whole family had our picture taken in the morning. It was hard to get everyone together; but.finally we made it happen.
