One of the things we learned this year in Peru and Bolivia is that things do not have to be perfect.and flexibility is essential to sanity and peace. By the way, this is a greenhouse near completion.and built totally by women! The Puno Church, almost completed. It was a big project to oversee, which Scott did well.

Scott and Bev in South America. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. We have gone north to Alaska, Idaho and Oregon to spend time with family and friends. Nicki and Ben live in a yurt north of Anchorage and we had a wonderful time with grandkids, kids, and summer activities in Alaska. Hiking trails are enjoyed everywhere. Nicki, Bev, Kaya (4 1/2 months) and their dogs.who Bev is indebted to after they scared a bear off the property. Opa Scott and his buddies Leo (3 1/2) and Kaya (4 1/2 months). What a big help!

Scott and Bev in South America. Monday, May 24, 2010. He was nervous, speaks very little Spanish, so I think he appreciated our English and Scott's relaxed attitude! Paola laughs and says that since she speaks little French, and he speaks little Spanish.they have very few arguments. We will miss her and are already talking about visiting them in Amsterdam. Scott and Bev in South America. Sunday, March 14, 2010. Training Promotores de Buena Salud. Muchos saludos de Puno! The sunny skies are returning marking the end of our rainy season. Nights are chilly, but the days are getting up to 65-70 degrees.in the sun. A little hike around Sillustani, an old pre-Inca and Inca site known for its funeraries. The huge rock in front of Moises has knobs they would wedge into another huge rock with matching indentations to construct the walls of the burial funeraries.
