I remember Ben at his second birthday so clearly. He knew the names of 30 Thomas trains, he had friends, he was putting together small jigsaw puzzles. Sunday, August 31, 2014. Well, we made it to Guangzhou on Saturday. We used our Marriott points to upgrade to a spacious 1 bedroom suite and it has made a huge difference, giving us all some room to spread out. We can also eat raw vegetables in the hotel which was not recommended in Zhengzhou. Our first meal here I ate a BIG delicious Greek salad. :). Wednesday, October 24, 2012. At 6:40 am this morning we received our PDF copy of the confirmation that our I-800 approval has been cabled to the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou, China. Our agency’s staff in China should be dropping off our paperwork today or tomorrow, to be picked up in 2 weeks. A day or two after that (Nov 9? We will begin our wait for Travel Approval! The wait is 1-3 weeks, with the average being 14 days. Friday, October 19, 2012. What could be in this precious envelope? I think it is.
