When you're a navy 'brat' you have to be willing to "make new friends but keep the old" as the ancient saying tells you so. This happens to be something I value in myself and carry around as 'my thing'. I have had the name 'Ruffled Wishes' on the brain now for some time and since I can't really change the name of my business. So, here we have Ruffled Wishes. Monday, June 6, 2011. A Party to Remember. Tripp's Birthday party was Saturday and we celebrated with a sports theme. He kept telling Jay and me that all he wanted was "hard balls" at his party and we weren't really sure what to make of that until we realized he meant REAL balls that he could throw, not the plastic ones we let him use inside! So, it went off without a hitch. 8 days out from having little girl)and he is still saying that he loved his birthday! The cake which was DELICIOUS! Ten Days in Love.

I constantly listen to music while I'm working and designing and because of that I find myself running through the same play lists on my itunes quite often. Today, in the search for some new inspiring music (I'm a huge contemporary christian gal) I found a song by Kathleen Carnali. Called "Dangerous Prayer". We spent a couple of hours on the beach and then headed to the outlet mall. I must say I have a great little shopper on my hands and I can see us getting into trouble in the future! It was cloudy yesterday afternoon so we decided to head with Cynthia and Alan to Grand Blvd. to do some shopping and to check out the Tommy Bahama Bar. Mary Bishop was so excited that Aunt Cysha and Uncle Alan were here to entertain! After the Grand Blvd. we headed to Baytowne to eat at Acme Oyster Bar. It was sooo very good! Wire-strung Harp “Patrick Ball”. 32 strings 4 1/2 octaves C to f ' '. Maine rock maple, with an ash t-brace. Height, with stand: 57 in., front to back: 28 in., corpus width: 17 (bottom) to 5 in. (top). Weight: 28 lbs, stand: 3 lbs. Played a little bit in the 1980s, then took a long rest. Refinished in 2010 in red mahogany dye and hand-padded lacquer. Brass Strung Wire Harps. Ndash; harpmaker has been making harps since 1970. In addition to reviving the making of the old Irish wire strung harps, he is chiefly responsible for the present day school of small harpmaking in the United States. The harps listed are historical copies or reconstructions based on written descriptions and iconography as well as several Witcher original designs. Because handcrafting quality musical instruments takes time, there is a waiting period for delivery of an instrument.
