The land of Hoarfrost. The winter knows my frail bodyheat as a passing whisper between louder cycles of life (if it knows me at all). This strikes me as a more honest thing than being the object of infatuation (though admittedly far less sweet). My mortality makes me promises that I know I can rely on, having encountered it’s sincerity on a number of occasions. The hidden me that judges the experiences I go through weighed by those standards. Emotional pain hurts so avoid it. Physical pain is worth enduring for the sake of what I believe in.
