Owen just loves climbing all over the play structure and going down the slide. He is such a big kid. Monday, February 11, 2013. In the running world, I ran my first 12k race on Sunday (Feb. 10th). A 12k race is equal to 7.5 miles. The race was the 9th Annual Fanconi Anemia Run/Walk. This is a great race that I also did last year. Last year I did the 5k, and I remember talking to a lady who was doing the 12k, and I thought to myself, "Wow, I'd never be able to a 12k." Saturday, October 29, 2011. Well, I did it! Last weekend I ran my first 5k. I did it in 39 minutes and 19 seconds, which means I was running about a 13 minute mile. Ryan got some pics of me running. They're not the greatest pictures because I was running so fast that I was hard to catch. This is my only close up picture. My head is chopped off, but you can see my awesome running form. This is me at the very end of the 5k. I was almost crying because I was so excited to be done and so proud of myself.

Monday, May 28, 2012. Way back on April 28th, we took a hike up to Punchbowl Falls. This hike is part of the Eagle Creek Trail and is located in the Columbia River Gorge. We had a great time on this hike. It is a very popular hike so it was pretty busy, but everyone on the trail was friendly so all in all it was a great day.
