All supplies will be furnished (included in the class fee). Thursday, January 17, 2013. Six days in Palmyra. I few years ago I met Priti Lisa. Through blogging and felt an instant connection. After chatting here and there about me coming to visit. We made a little art for a birthday gift. I thought it kind of funny that we both carried a very similar purse. Lisa is the best cook! She made me this omelet filled with cheese and asparagus. I had planned on having my hair cut by Deb at Dinunzio's BarberShop. I didn't take a pic of that yet, but will. 3 due in February.

Wednesday, February 6, 2013. I've been locked up in the art room since I got back from Palmyra! It excites me in a funny way to think that I'm working everyday on my art. Like as in a job! I've been given the opportunity to do four commissioned pieces! We have gotten just a bit of snow. I prefer the blizzard kind. Spending our Saturdays and some Sundays playing wheelchair basketball. A small gift for my Father in law. Mr Cooper keeping warm. Working on Scotts commissioned piece. A wedding gift commission.

Tuesday, December 11, 2012. So far this has turned out to be a Tree crafting Chistmas. I had been sick with some sort of consumption. And spent two days cutting out circles to make this tree. Then I saw the idea to sew a tree. When we first moved to our home (13yrs ago) we had just lost Jake. This new home was on an acre of land. I made a memorial garden/flower bed for Jake. When we lost my brother in law last summer. I felt Jakes garden needed to be able to hold many memorials. Here are many of them.

Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Edgewater Artists In Motion. Mike and I spent the weekend at The Edgewater Art Fair. This is my 3rd year selling at art fairs and I have to say, its only gotten better! So much fun seeing people that collect my work, people that admire my work even the fellow vendors. Heres a little 11x14 that sold on Saturday. I love this photo of these little shoppers. It just won't tell me what it wants and each year I pull it out. And paint it exactly as I did the previous times! 16x20 Curly tree still in an early stage. 20x20 I originally panted a mandala on this one. Then hated how dark the background was. Friday, March 8, 2013. Gosh a month and a day past! In one months time I managed to finish four commissions! The one above was for a thumb print guestbook at a wedding! In the end I painted their names and the wedding date at the bottom. Sometimes when I'm painting and starting to feel a bit tense, I find myself making these wild flowers! Is it silly to say.i love my brushes. Always wanting to be the star of the show! My shrine of snowflakes. My wish came true and we got almost a foot of snow!
