We have 2 picnic shelters that can be rented and used as your base. Or use the shared picnic are equipped with grills and water. We have a great selection of canoes and kayaks, if your group wants to rent boats for an extended period, contact us for bulk discounts. Take a short hike on one of our multi-use trails. Of course we have a beach, but we don't have life guards.

Our boat rental fleet consists of:. 2 Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs). 3 adult kayaks (sit-in). 1 solo sit-on-top kayak. 2 children's kayaks (sit-in). 1 Tandem (2 person) kayak (sit-in). 1 Tandem (2 person 1 small child). 1 super comfortable canoe. Bring your summer camp. WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH DAY USE AREA. Middot; The recreation area is open daily from 9:00 am. Closing time is dusk and will be posted daily. Daily fees will be charged until 7:00 pm. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (defined as a person 18 years of age or older). Middot; There is no lifeguard on duty; swim at your own risk. Middot; No littering. Carry out all trash, including cigarette butts. Garbage bags are provided. No throwing of rice or confetti or water balloons.

Bring your summer camp. To check the current water level. The water level can fluctuate greatly following extremely heavy or extended (multiple consecutive days) periods of heavy rain. If we recently received heavy rain please check the above link for real-time water levels. The normal water level is about 635 feet above sea level. If the level is above 640 feet then all of the sand area will be under water. At 642 fairway 14 is dry, but the rough is under water, all other holes are fine.
