Wednesday, 30 January 2008. Why I hate Comet part 2. Apparently you can claim for food spoilt in your freezer from Comet. You simply need to retain the packages and put in a claim. But no-one told me this until the engineer came out to look at the freezer, four days after it broke. When the food had all been thrown away. And they won't accept a claim without the packets.
