The hunting report from Kansas provided by Hot Hunting Spots Field Staff and other hunters who contribute their field reports. Sunday, November 13, 2011. We are back at it today. This morning we hunted in and out of two 20 acre tree pods. We saw 7 different bucks. The biggest was a 180 inch 10 pt. We couldn't get close to him. We tried getting close enough to a 140 inch 8 pt (that is a big deer) and a smaller 10 pt, but they wouldn't come off the does. We will be roaming this spot again in the morning.

Unfortunately, the Hot Hunting Spots team recently lost a friend with the passing of "Brandon" on September 18th, 2009. Brandon was a gracious host during our trips to Kansas, but most importantly he was a husband and a father of two children who was abruptly taken from this earth too early at the young age of 28 years.
