Die Umgebung rund um die Finca

Because the estate is literally located in the middle of the rainforest your are not very close to the next city. Still the environment offers everything you need. The next village ist only about 8 minutes away (Linda Vista), where you can finde a store, a school, a kindergarden, two churches and even a football ground. In about 20 minutes you can reach the small city Palmitas. Here you will find a gas-station, a little ambulatory and some small stores. In about 45 minutes you can reach Cariari.

Get your own domicil. You have the possibility to buy the estate. As a whole including the rainforest. Or just the part where the house is on. The 3 hectar area including the house costs about 135000 EUR. The 30 hectar rainforest 220000 EUR. If you buy the the whole property you only have to pay 355000 EUR, for 33 hectar! This ammount migth sound like a lot at the first, but if you take a look at the land prices in Costa Rica and note what comes with the property you can say: Here you can buy a new life.

Ein DIA Vortrag über Costa Rica hat mein Interesse an diesem Land geweckt und so habe ich mich 1993 kurzentschlossen mit Rucksack und Stiefeln auf den Weg gemacht.Vom ersten bis zum letzten Reisetag waren meine Eindrücke von Land/Leuten und der Natur überwältigend. Da das Anwesen sprichwörtlich mitten im Regenwald liegt, ist man natürlich nicht direkt stadtnähe. Trotdzem bietet die Umgebung alles was man braucht, so ist man in ca. 8 Minuten im nächsten Dorf (Linda Vista) mit Einkaufsladen, Schule, Kindergarten, zwei öffentlichen Kirchen und sogar einem Fußballplatz. Ca 20 Minuten entfernt ist die Kleinsctadt Palmitas. Hier finden Sie neben einer Tankstelle ein Ambulatorium und ein paar kleinerer Supermärkte. In ca 45 Minuten ist Cariari.
