Wouldn't life be awfully boring...

Wouldn't life be awfully boring. Wednesday, February 01, 2012. I've been wanting to visit New Zealand for a long time. I finally got the chance this year. I went down for two and a half weeks to visit friends and try to line up a job for next year. After travelling around Asia, I knew NZ was going to be very expensive, so I decided to hitch hike to avoid transportation costs. I managed to cover close to 2000km! Here's where I crashed, on top of Annette's house:. We headed to the Landsborough River valley...

http://zachbrowning.blogspot.com/2011/12/ok-i-know-music-is-hackneyed.html

Wouldn't life be awfully boring. Wednesday, December 28, 2011. OK, I know the music is hackneyed, the transitions are shitty, the shots are repetitive, and the overall production quality is fairly low. But give me a break, I'm just learning the editing software, and I don't have the patience to spend any more time on this thing. So with that resounding recommendation, here's a taste of what I do during the summer:. Posted by Zach at 5:20 AM. Cresciano, Ticino, Switzerland. View my complete profile.

Wouldn't life be awfully boring...: Reflections on India

http://zachbrowning.blogspot.com/2011/07/reflections-on-india.html

Wouldn't life be awfully boring. Monday, July 11, 2011. I wrote the following in LAX, on my way home from India. These are incomplete fragments, originally intended to be pieced together into some sort of coherent essay on my experience. Unfortunately I got sidetracked, so I will post them here as-is:. Perhaps this feeling really was indicative of my entire experience. Posted by Zach at 4:26 AM. Cresciano, Ticino, Switzerland. Wouldn't life be awfully boring. Wednesday, February 01, 2012. Posted by Zach at 8:45 PM. Cresciano, Ticino, Switzerland. All of our choices have a price; all the things we do reflect a whole universe of things we didn't do. As mortals, we have only one path to follow. We can't go back and try a different fork. So live your life how you want. Do the things you really want to do, now, before it's over and you look back and wonder where all the time went. View my complete profile. India on the Enfield.

Wouldn't life be awfully boring...: April 2007

http://zachbrowning.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html

Wouldn't life be awfully boring. Monday, April 23, 2007. Well, my winter is officially over. Summer has begun. I've just finished my first week of guiding, and it's been a good one. Looking forward to the rest of it. Posted by Zach at 8:08 AM. I met up with Charley to help him drive down to Monterrey and to hang out down there for awhile. A few things I learned along the way:. Most of Texas sucks. Really. People in Austin are not used to dealing with drunk people. Surprising, but true. Another quick stop...

LIFE IS HORSE: 4/1/09 - 5/1/09

http://life-is-horse.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, April 28, 2009. A Day in the Life. On Monday Teresa made it over here about 11 AM. The wind was blowing a fair breeze and it was still only 44 degrees at 10 AM. We didn't really get much done. She brushed and saddled Travler. And I warned her about his vice of lifting his back leg and stomping it to the ground. Sounds harmless, and is, unless you happen to be in the way of that heavy foot! After she left I cleaned the paddocks, and Travler and Little Hawk's water trough. Monday, April 27, 2009.

LIFE IS HORSE: 10/1/11 - 11/1/11

http://life-is-horse.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Friday, October 21, 2011. May 23-30, 2011. On the 26th I took Moe to Valley Vet for another cast, but as it turned out he got his cast off. I love going to Espanola because the weather is always so wonderful. Spring has arrived, though it is still winter in Cuba! The next day I took Travler to the Lindrith arena. He is such a monster in an arena, doing all sorts of quick, cutting horse moves. I got Jimmy to ride him to see what he would do with someone else. He is such a great horse on the trail!

Nothing to fix but much to love: A day in Italy (aka little India) #2

http://nothingtofixbutmuchtolove.blogspot.com/2011/09/day-in-italy-aka-little-india-2.html

Thursday, September 22, 2011. A day in Italy (aka little India) #2. But yes, the pizza. You all know I've been to India. Crazy India, where nothing turns out the way you expect. I have gotten some very weird stuff when eating at different restaurants. But here, in Europe, when you order a pizza and the menu tells you "grilled vegetable", I do expect to get that. And hey, Italy and pizza! September 28, 2011 at 12:12 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Fear of dying, fear of missing out on things - all...

http://nothingtofixbutmuchtolove.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 31, 2011. It's getting warmer in Rishikesh. Spring is in the air. It's lovely. The days now are pretty much the same, I've started a new book (Shantaram, I can very much recommend it! And that's the biggest change. But today I finally got around to buying a ticket to Rajasthan, so I'm off on Saturday. I'm taking a night train (can't wait, it's been way too long! Saturday, January 22, 2011. I'm more into beeing than doing at the moment". Wednesday, January 19, 2011. When I got to the airpo...

Nothing to fix but much to love: December 2010

http://nothingtofixbutmuchtolove.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 31, 2010. Last day of the year, first day of the rest of my life. And for the year to come, more fabulous plans, more places to see and more friends to make and see again. A month on Bali, three months in Malaysia, a week or two in Thailand, another week in Singapore, one in Australia and a few days in England. Summer in Sweden and then in September I'm off to Australia again. I get excited just thinking about it all! I think I'm the luckiest girl in the world! Monday, December 27, 2010.

Monday, May 16, 2011. Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Sydney. Hello Long time no blogging. I've gone from lazy days on the beach with nothing new to report, to busy big city days with too much to report! Then there was Singapore. Apparently the main things to do in Singapore are eating and shopping, so that's what we did! We also went to the cinema twice and ate buckets (literally! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thanks to our roomie and his friends both me and Christina are now working at Salt on the Beach. It's a great place, we're having a lot of fun and we've made some new really good friends.
