Baseball… celebrated. | Kimchi Summer

https://kimchisummer.wordpress.com/2012/08/07/baseball-celebrated

It's another KimchiSummer! It’s different here! August 7, 2012. One of the few things that I wanted to do last summer, but didn’t do, was go to a Korean baseball game. I vaguely remembered seeing something about how excited the fans were about their teams, and how fun it was……. It turns out I had no idea. But I’m getting ahead of myself… So much to talk about. Let’s start from the beginning…. Vendors for drinks and snacks are plentiful entering the stadium. I’ve got one better for you…. Imagine a world w...

Friday, December 3, 2010. Alas, I have not disappeared. Well at least not entirely anyway. For the duration of our hiatus, whether it be temporary or permanent, you can find me here. I started up a tumblr a few weeks ago and I've been enjoying posting completely random thoughts and pictures, so come join me! Tuesday, November 30, 2010. This blog has been so much fun! I've learned some really great, funny, interesting, surprising things about some friends I thought I already knew backwards and forwards!

A Different Kind Of Sanity | The Near-Senseless Ramblings of a Wannabe Writer

A Different Kind Of Sanity. The Near-Senseless Ramblings of a Wannabe Writer. April 30, 2015. The world ended and nobody noticed. Cars drove chokingly by, spewing black gas down cracked highway streets. Coffee machines whirred and poured dirty coloured liquid into chipped and broken glassware. People arose from cold beds in draught filled rooms with pane-less windows and convinced themselves that cold was the new warm. An artist of no discernible gender grabbed their gun and wandered the streets, scrambl...

Sunday, May 10, 2015. You have to watch this awesome video of a blind mom and her ultrasound of her baby! It was so special to watch. It got me thinking this Mother's Day weekend of my own mom. I think of her often of course but sometimes I get too clinical because I ponder things from a blind perspective or from a third party, an outsider if you will, insights. But after I watched this video, I simply just thought of her. The blindness of those around her that would tell her that she would't be able to ...

A Different Kind of War

Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Well, I Guess It's Give and Take. Firstly, I can't believe that I've gained almost 8kgs since my heart bypass! My weight has always been maintained at a (classified number which if I have to tell you, I will have to kill you after that. By telling you really bad jokes) and imagine my fright when I went on the weighing machine (which measures your height and your BMI too) at the hospital and this machine churned out the piece of paper. I'm laughing at the swearing and cursing).
