Sunday, April 5, 2015. MC Baseball is BACK! Okay, so keeping our family blog up to date has not been a priority.at.all! We are bad, no I am bad! Life is good. We are all keeping busy with our normal day to day activities, but now MC baseball is back in full swing and we are all so excited! MC is doing well, but this week will be important. We play Sky View twice this week and they have been winning (Tanner says it's because they have been playing teams that are not good.hopefully that is true! I was doin...

Taking It Day By Day: August 2011
http://notamama.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Taking It Day By Day. Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Instead of "the end" it's so cute. Anyway I just wanted to give you guys a quick update, it's late and I think both the kids might. Finally be sleeping *fingers crossed*. Tuesday, August 2, 2011. We had a great time. Oh and about a week ago, Skyler got his first tricycle! I was amazed that I managed to find one that he can reach the pedals on. He still doesn't know how to make it go on his own yet, but we're working on it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). VoicePr...

Taking It Day By Day: July 2011
http://notamama.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Taking It Day By Day. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Excellent news: The pediatrician watched the video I made of the little guy shaking rapidly and he says it's something called a shuddering attack (or shuddering spell), it doesn't affect the brain and he will outgrow it. It just looks scary because it can be mistaken for a real seizure. You have no idea how relieved I am. Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Sunday, July 3, 2011. We'll make sure he checks out Adriel as soon as possible. Unless it gets worse today and...

Taking It Day By Day: May 2011
http://notamama.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Taking It Day By Day. Monday, May 23, 2011. Skyler is talking so much more, I didn't think it was possible but he's starting to be a bit calmer now that he can get his point across without screaming. I mean he's still a spitfire without a doubt but he's now saying things like "want it." "hold it." "upset" "no thank you mommy" and the needless screaming has lessened a bit. Adriel now is almost 3 months and weighs 13.8 pounds. Can you believe it? Tuesday, May 10, 2011. The Twos: Temper Tantrums. The meds h...

Taking It Day By Day: January
http://notamama.blogspot.com/2012/01/january.html
Taking It Day By Day. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Has it really been since November? Adriel is walking unassisted now. 4 or 5 steps at a time, but I think by tomorrow or the next day he will be full blown walking on his own. I found out there is a medieval festival thing going on the summer time in a little town not too far from here so I am also making a dress to wear to that. Can you tell I like period costumes? I always love hearing how you and the boys are making out! January 12, 2012 at 10:29 AM.

Taking It Day By Day: October 2011
http://notamama.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Taking It Day By Day. Monday, October 17, 2011. Saturday, October 15, 2011. Then when we examine the learning environment of the "traditional school", we find even more reasons to home school. I'll put them in list format to make it easier to read. Schools assume that everyone learns the same way, they use a one size fits all approach. Children don't all learn the same way. Some are auditory learners, some are tactile, some visual or a combination of the different types. If a child is fidgety (who wouldn...

http://notamama.blogspot.com/2011/11/homeschool-is-awesome-because.html
Taking It Day By Day. Monday, November 28, 2011. Homeschool is Awesome Because. You get to stay up late if they can't sleep. You can wake up any time and do your learning/lessons. You can learn/teach in your pyjamas. You don't have to walk/drive to school in -40c weather. If it's nice out you can do your lessons outside. Your child learns at their own pace. If they have troubles you can slow down and explain it again and do extra review. If they're ahead they can keep working ahead. One on one instruction.
