My Grateful Heart

An Exercise in Thankfulness. Monday, December 28, 2009. Today I am thankful for good books and my ability to read them. I am sad that there are people who do not know how to read. That makes me want to volunteer with a literacy program in the New Year. Posted by Stacy Fountain @ 11:38 PM. Sunday, December 27, 2009. Posted by Stacy Fountain @ 11:38 PM. My Grateful Heart: Thankfulness Day 47

http://www.anexerciseinthankfulness.blogspot.com/2009/12/thankfulness-day-47.html

An Exercise in Thankfulness. Saturday, December 26, 2009. Today I am thankful for our flight benefits. Although we are not using them to drive to St. Louis today, they are there for us when we want to us them. I am also thankful that St. Louis is within a reasonable driving distance, making trips there more possible for us. Posted by Stacy Fountain @ 11:32 PM. Subscribe to Post Comments [ Atom. An Exercise in Thankfulness. Monday, December 21, 2009. Today I am thankful for Kristy Doyle (our cousin) and her boss, Chuck Cassar, for "adopting" my friend and her family for Christmas this year. Julie has been battling cancer and this would be a very bleak Christmas for the family. Chuck has shared her story with his customers and they have been stepping up to help make this Christmas brighter for the entire family. Posted by Stacy Fountain @ 11:08 PM. http://www.anexerciseinthankfulness.blogspot.com/2009/12/thankfulness-day-45.html

An Exercise in Thankfulness. Thursday, December 24, 2009. Today I am thankful for the wonderful Christmas Eve I had today. A few hours of work in the morning, followed by visits to homes of 3 families, lots of great conversation, opening presents, yummy food, Skype chat with my best friend while he and Wally opened presents, helping Wally set out milk and cookies for Santa, and getting ready for Christmas morning for Wally. All around, a terrific evening. Posted by Stacy Fountain @ 11:28 PM.

A Creative Fountain: A New Adventure

http://acreativefountain.blogspot.com/2009/11/new-adventure.html

Saturday, November 21, 2009. Ok, so I have attempted blogging in the past in a couple different places. But not been committed to it. I am hoping this time will be different. I plan to have a few blogs right now, which may be biting off more than I can chew. The first is this one, ACreativeFountain. I hope to use it to share my thoughts on anything and everything. I have a lot in my pretty little head and hope to get some of it out here. The second is ToBeQuoted. The third is MyGratefulHeart.

A Creative Fountain: November 2009

http://acreativefountain.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 22, 2009. Planning my 40th Birthday Party. I had so much fun, I decided to do it again this year. Rather than try to pack it into the already busy holiday season, the plan is to celebrate this once in a lifetime event (or maybe twice) on January 23. I have so many ideas in my head. This will definitely be a night to remember. Evites will be out after the first of the year. Me wearing a Christmas tree as a hat. My beautiful niece Melissa, her boyfriend Marc and me. The second is ToBeQuoted.

An Excercise in Narcissism

An Excercise in Narcissism. The ultimate form of narcissism is, in my humble opinion, creating an entire page just about yourself and then hoping that others will read it. Well, here I am, doing exactly that. Tuesday, April 7, 2009. If you thought we were saving the world, you missed something. Currently I am doing a lot of reading, and obviously not a lot of writing. One of the books I am reading right now I borrowed from my dad. It's called Confessions Of An Economic Hitman. Tuesday, September 9, 2008.

an exercise in politics | bringing PT and politics together

An exercise in politics. Bringing PT and politics together. New Perspectives, New Ideas. August 12, 2015. It’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted on here. Not that I grew tired of posting, but a lot of things were happening in my life. Between my last clinical rotation, studying for boards, graduating, and looking for a job, I had my days pretty filled. Good news though! And everything from new group UpDoc Media. For some of my favorites! So what do you think? Hope to hear from you soon! March 4, 2015.

an exercise in politics | bringing PT and politics together

An exercise in politics. Bringing PT and politics together. Federal Advocacy Forum Wrap-Up. April 27, 2016. For those who have not been involved with federal advocacy in the past, there were some big pieces of legislation we lobbied for specifically this year. Perhaps the biggest in terms of impact on physical therapy is legislation that would repeal the Medicare Therapy Cap. You know, that arbitrary dollar amount placed on rehab services that helped balance the budget in 1997? I would highly recommend e...

View this document on Scribd. April 24, 2013 at 8:47 AM. My Brush with Terror: The Boston Bombings. It was the perfect set up. What if the sky bridge was wired with explosives? We stayed on the street. SWAT and Army men were everywhere in full body armor and on high alert. Erin and I pressed forward. April 17, 2013 at 8:01 AM.

An Exercise in Spinning Yarn

Stories and gripings about exercise, dieting, life, and what it's been like learning to leave the love handles behind. Monday, January 5, 2015. Hey guys, hey guys, remember that time where it was almost the end of December and I was like, "Hey, I'm totally going to start my diet a little BEFORE the new year and lose some weight so my 'starting weight' for the year is lower! Do you remember that? Do ya do ya? Ha Haha. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH no. It hurts, my friends. It hurts so, so mucho. I’m on ...

An Exercise In Utility

Sunday, October 28, 2007. 40:00 : 5.5 miles. Easy run. Ran the Veteran's Day course in my new spikes- to break them in as well as get in some time on the course. It's quite the ankle breaker again, and it's helpful to practice some of the more technical sections before coming across the ravines, hidden logs, and micro-moguls at race pace. I should have a couple of workouts over the next week, so today was a nice way to get recovered and ready for them. Posted at 6:23 AM . Thursday, December 07, 2006.

An Exercise in Wasting Time

An Exercise in Wasting Time. Tuesday, 5 February 2013. We Done Gone Played Relics. So, Tuesday night, club night, what to do? The mission, chosen last minute, was 'Capture and Destroy', the Orcnar were gunning (or fisting? To destroy the altar of Mordheim (right of the central ruin in this pic) while capturing the fabled Chimney of Despair (just behind the Nuem force). The Nuem would be try their damnedest to stop the Orncar. Why? Who knows, they're just mysterious that way I suppose. Nice shoes, no feet!

In which I attempt to write coherent thoughts. Let me start this with an apology: I’m sorry I disappeared without a word! I have not stopped reading blogs, but my own last post was in. I should have spoken up before now, providing some kind of explanation. Let me start my explanation with the best thing that happened to me in 2014: I was accepted into the MFA in Writing program at Pacific University!
