Adoption Beefstew, Round 2. Friday, September 30, 2011. So, 3 hrs down and 3 signatures without even seeing a doc! Good Then we waited some more. About 2:30, the internist came in listened to my heart, looked at my wrists and ankles and signed the form. Glad to know my wrists and ankles passed the test! Tomorrow, Sasha picks me up at 7am for my 12hr flight back to Houston, 6-hr layover and then should land in Nashville around 10pm. Cannot wait to give Clare so many hugs and kisses. She will be sl...Ascen...

Adoption Beefstew, Round 2. Saturday, March 3, 2012. Almost the 3 month mark. Audrey has been home for almost 3 months now. Time sure flies! It is impossible to imagine life before her. Just feels as if she has always been with us! She is doing so well. Now full-on crawling, pulling up to standing and eating regular foods. She had small pieces of cheese, turkey and pasta with sauce for dinner last night. The idea of the sippy cup is still coming along - slowly but surely! Almost the 3 month mark. My 2nd ...

Adoption Adventures - Take 2: February 2011
http://mbgemmilladopt.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Adoption Adventures - Take 2. Sunday, February 6, 2011. Now, with our homestudy complete in early January, it was time to work on our Dossier. We received the list of documents from our agency, 65 to be notarized and apostilled. On our first adoption it took us 2-3 months to pull everything together. We can't figure out why it took us so long! I'm closing with a picture of Nick from Christmas as he anxiously awaited Santa's arrival at brunch. Meghan, Bill and Nick. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Adoption Adventures - Take 2. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Our meeting at the MOE went well and we received our referral. YAY. He is a boy and we are overjoyed! Finally our purpose for this trip was going to happen and we would meet our son. Our visit was very short so its hard to really assess much about his personality but all comments from the caregivers (and our observations) indicate he is fairly laid back and calm, as far as babies go. We'll see when we are able to spend more time with him. We had one...
