Dropped Stitch Knitter

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. The start of a tunic and a dress. I went to Fabricland today, completely on a whim. I've been wanting to make some dresses and blouses and ALL Simplicity patterns were on sale for $2. And I'd been drooling over these patterns for the Lisette patterns for awhile now. They're made by the same designer as Oliver S patterns. So I picked up all 4. How could I not? They're usually $17. Each. So $8 for four, that's a steal. I'm planning on working on this one today:. Dropped Stitch Knitter: December 2010

http://droppedstitchknitter.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 3, 2010. Happy birthday to me (a bit early)! I got my sewing machine, a birthday present from my parents in the mail the other day. even though my birthday isn't for over a month. But, I did have some projects I've been wanting to do that pretty much require a sewing machine. Like a tablecloth. When I won Lisa's giveaway. After finding a few patterns I liked, I ended up kind of blending them to get the finished product I had in mind. Friday, December 03, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Dropped Stitch Knitter: September 2010

http://droppedstitchknitter.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 12, 2010. A Visit to the Zoo. I don't know what it is, but I absolutely love going to the zoo. Even as an adult. So when the boyfriend emailed me about going with a couple of coworkers, I didn't want to miss out. Unlike I usually do, I didn't look into the zoo beforehand; I was AMAZED at how large it is! The smaller of two elephants. We saw many more animals and I took way more pictures, but I decided to include just a few of my favorites. Overall, an amazing trip! 1) Our basement apart...

Dropped Stitch Knitter: My Latest Inspiration: William Morris

http://droppedstitchknitter.blogspot.com/2011/04/my-latest-inspiration-william-morris.html

Friday, April 1, 2011. My Latest Inspiration: William Morris. I love the Arts and Craft movement. And that's led to my love of William Morris works. Don't know who William Morris is? Check him out here. I actually discovered him through tonicliving.com and these wonderful fabrics:. Unfortunately, they've been out of stock but I plan on ordering some ASAP when they have it in. It looks way more washed out than in person, but what do you think? Hope everyone has a great weekend! Friday, April 01, 2011.

Dropped Stitch Knitter: I've been a bad blogger

http://droppedstitchknitter.blogspot.com/2011/04/ive-been-bad-blogger.html

Saturday, April 16, 2011. I've been a bad blogger. No, really, I have. My re-found love of my kindle has kept me reading for days. And lately, I've been reading Joanne Fluke's Hannah Swensen Mysteries. If you like murder mysteries and an easy read, they might be for you. The main character is a baker (and I'm realizing how lame and ridiculous it seems as I type it) and the author lists recipes in the book, much like the Leslie Meier Lucy Stone Series. If you've read those. So they looked less like this:.

http://suburban-retreat.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, February 24, 2011. ROMANTIC DECOR and BLOGGER LUNCHEON. In the midst of a long, cold winter, I find that I tend to spend more time reading than any other time of year. I recently purchased the book "Romantic Style" by Selina Lake and Sara Norrman. There isn't much NOT to LOVE. About this book especially if. You're a die-hard romantic such as myself! Inspiration = Tweaking Time at Suburban Retreat! With Sping just around the corner, I've decorated the top of my. China cabinet in a R. It was my p...

Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Episode 7: "ee ee eeee". Folks - there was some sort of video snafu around the 54 minute mark which caused the loss of 9m worth of footage. I think we were just yakking about chocolate stains and steeking during that time. Come say hi in the Ravelry group. Green's Gluten Free India Pale Ale. No Sew fleece blanket. Sweater based on Ginny's Cardigan. In KP Merino Style. Fingerless Gloves in Solitude Wool Clun Forest. Llama lace handspun, 2-ply (from fleece). Class), in Seacolors.
