Buy tickets for Ushio's raffle! We're auctioning off a purple Apple iPod Shuffle for part of our fundraiser. So, if you are in need of an iPod, stop on by our campsite and buy a ticket or two. Monday, December 31, 2012. On this day, the last day of 2012, I sit here and think about what all has happened over the year. The beginning is pretty much a blur as I don't remember much of it. We took a couple of trips to the beach, one as a family the other just me and the kids. I still have a ways to go to reach my ultimate goal, and I don't know how long it will take to get there, but when I do, I am hoping that the "skinny" girl I can see in mirror under all the "fluff" is there in person too. Monday, June 11, 2012. It's funny how life can take us on such a different path than the one we imagined as kids. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade my current life for anything! I love being a wife and a mother. I like owning my own home and having a job with flexible hours. There are times though, that I do wonder what my life would be like if I had done ONE thing different. That one thing would be my decision not to go to college. Would I be as happy in life as I am now? Would I have gotten married?

Thursday, February 21, 2008. This is the first time in my recolection that I've ever seen a lunar eclipse. Living in Oregon it's either too cold or too cloudy to see them when they happen. My kids were impressed for a time before they thought it was more fun to go inside and play Leapster games. My camera and I braved the cold though and this is what we came back with. Enjoy. Monday, March 31, 2008. Have you ever wondered why the teeth way back in your jaw are called wisdom teeth? I have. Supposedly they're supposed to be the teeth that come through the gum around age 18 when you become a "wise" young adult (accourding to my dentist today anyway).
