Paul Paul: Reflection Week 11: Learning Management Systems
http://paulkinwan.blogspot.com/2008/04/reflection-week-11-learning-management.html
Saturday, April 5, 2008. Reflection Week 11: Learning Management Systems. I agree with the author that no single tool can do all the best, especially LMS. The author stresses the importance of learning environment in a way that LMS can work comprementary with other tools like RSS, blogs, wikis, etc. You're right about the last point. Yet, have you visited Venus' blog? She said that this kind of learning is more suitable for those highly motivated students. What do you think? April 5, 2008 at 4:28 AM.

Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Week 3 reading reflection. The parts I'm reading are all about real practices and examples of website assisted learning integrated with skills in learning English, using English to communicate or other generic skills such as collaborations. First, the examples are authentic and are all valuable since they gave good illustrations of how Teaching English as a Second Language teachers can motiviate students to apply English in real situations in daily life using websites.

Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Theory-driven CALL and the development process. Thanks for the reflection. Sometimes the IT or e-learning will be driven by a few enthusiastic teachers only. Can you see anyone like that at your school? What kind of support do you think teachers need to integrate IT into learning? March 4, 2008 at 5:15 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ros@nn@: Reflection on Week 9
http://chengrosanna.blogspot.com/2008/03/reflection-on-week-9.html
Monday, 24 March 2008. Reflection on Week 9. This article mentions some criteria for teachers to use CALL materials in teaching. All these criteria are very important for teachers to choose suitable materials for their students. I really appreciate the invention of the i-books and i-readers. It is because they are very convenient for teachers and beneficent for students. I'm not sure if you've got the main point of the article or not. Was this an article about using or designing CALL materials?

Ros@nn@: Reflection on Week 8
http://chengrosanna.blogspot.com/2008/03/reflection-on-week-8.html
Monday, 3 March 2008. Reflection on Week 8. In fact, schools in Hong Kong concern about this issue once it has been published. It is because teachers always use the mass media, such as newspaper articles and advertisements, as a kind of teaching tools in their lessons. As our government suggests, teachers should use authentic materials as teaching aids to arouse our students’ interest. It is true that such materials can motivate our students to learn. Monday, 3 March 2008. Reflection on Week 6. CALL materials are very useful in for teaching and learning. In fact, some of the materials do not fulfill the needs of the students or even for teachers. Some of them are designed based on some particular theories and some of them are just the way. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Reflection on Week 9. Reflection on Week 8. Reflection on Week 6.
