All the simple things. A snapshot of our daily life in kansas city. Friday, May 27, 2011. My mom and I just hosted a bridal shower this past Sunday. Hopefully I'll get the pictures from my dad soon so I can do a post to show the food spread and decorations - we thought it all turned out really nice. Plus, I think everyone had a good time. Oh, and sorry there are no pictures, you'll just have to take my word for it that the dip is wonderful. Enjoy! 2 cans mexi-corn, drained (located by the canned corn).

We went to the Big Hero 6 party - watched the movie, did a craft, and ate some free Subway (I think Malia had 5 little sandwiches). It's a Sawyer Thing. Monday, September 22, 2014. Harper Lynn 1 Month. Harper Lynn is 1 month today! Can't believe it. She is a very mellow baby and we are good so far. She has started to sleep 6 hour at nights and is eating about 4oz every three hours. She sleeps a lot and loves to lay on her stomach. Excited to see what month 2 brings. I can't remember my first concert but I know for sure it wasn't to see the hottest boy band on the planet when I was 8 years old. This lucky girl got the chance though and she was so excited. I want them to autograph my sign. How do we do that? She got the tickets way back in December from her Aunt Gina when late July at Chiefs stadium didn't sound so miserably hot. Friday, October 31, 2014. They say October is the new June when it comes to wedding season- and with weather like we've had this October, why not? After all, I did comfortably sport shorts and flip-flops today to get my spray tan. Gettin' all ready for the wedding festivities! Now just to get around to writing my speech.eek. A couple weekends ago, friends and family from near and far gathered in our home to celebrate Gentry. Being the Future Mrs. Peltier! The fam in attendance. What a fun and brave bunch!
