Welcoming a second child into this world was easy; raising an infant and a toddler together is a totally different story. Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Dear Volkswagen, Please Give Me Back My Swagger. 8220;Ooh, maybe they’ll give us one of those cute little convertibles or even a bug! 8221; Erin screamed from the backseat. “Mommy, look at how big that car is! 8220;Well, we’ve been saying that we need more room,” he smirked. 8220;Did you get a new car? 8220;Hey mom, check it out, I can dance in here! There w...

Welcoming a second child into this world was easy; raising an infant and a toddler together is a totally different story. Monday, April 16, 2012. Hey Fresh Beats, Thanks for the Insomnia. Last night, after I tucked my exhausted body in for an unprecedented 10:30pm bedtime, I should have easily shut my eyes and drifted into dreamland. But I didn’t. Instead my tired eyes stared at the ceiling and thought about Marina. Why did she leave the Fresh Beat Band so suddenly anyway? No Definitely not.”. But it was...

Welcoming a second child into this world was easy; raising an infant and a toddler together is a totally different story. Friday, June 14, 2013. Nope, not me. But thanks for the memories. I think it was the summer of 7. Last night, as the 1980s boy band reunited for a Package Tour in the same East Rutherford location, I must sadly admit that I was there. 8220;So we’re really doing this? This is surely going to suck. But then Boyz II Men came out and killed it. Bended Knee, Water Runs Dry, Motown Phil...

Welcoming a second child into this world was easy; raising an infant and a toddler together is a totally different story. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Hey Bravo, VH1: Define real. Browsing through The Christmas Tree Shoppe this morning, loading up on Halloween lights and flashy pumpkin earrings that I definitely do not need, I very carelessly collided into Renee. The ex-wife of a turncoat? 8220;Did you see her? 8221; I heard two shoppers discussing a few aisles later. 8220;She’s so tiny! And she was....

Growing Up Goodwin | I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46:4
The Start of Something. The Start of Something. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46:4. The Start of Something. March 10, 2015. I haven’t blogged in quite some time. I was kinda over it. I was kinda over. Of things. The last year of our lives was a game changer. Well I am back. This time, I am blogging as more of a method to hold myself accountable to the tangible changes I want to make in my life. Less about. And more about the. Is doing in me.

The Mall in Florence, shopping in Tuscany. Mar 18, 2018. When I knew for sure that I would be traveling to Italy. I knew that I’d be getting a new handbag. You see, years ago… before we had children… Doug and I took a trip to Italy. Doug even rented a car and drove me through Tuscany and out to the tiny Luxury Outlet Mall. And I now get several questions a month about whether the trip to The Mall in Florence is worth it. So yes, it’s worth a trip to The Mall if you are in or around Florence. As...I talke...

Growing Up Gothic: A Lifestyle Blog
Growing Up Gothic: A Lifestyle Blog. For the purpose of relaying my Gothic experience to the world. I go out into the world, learn from my stubborn and spooky ways to bring the results to you! Hopefully without sounding too terribly self-righteous in the process. Sunday, August 19, 2012. Finally Adressing the Dark Knight Massacre. To me, this movie would be a form of closure. Growing up, I was in love with Heath Ledger. I absolutely loved him, and when he died shortly after making The Dark Knight...So na...

Growing Up Gracefully
Friday, June 7, 2013. This year, in lieu of presents, we decided to try out a new way of celebrating our children's birthdays. Truthfully, my children have very little need for more toys. In an effort to make birthdays special memories instead of more materialism we have decided to forgo toys and instead treat our children to a special outing. This year, for our 4 year old, Asher's, birthday we went camping at Camp Jellystone. In Marion, NC. Ways we saved while celebrating:. 3 We camped on a weekday.
