http://www.heatherspost.blogspot.com/2008/12/ice-ice-baby.html

Tuesday, December 9, 2008. One thing that I am missing from the U.S. is ice. They don't have ice makers and I haven't found any ice cube trays. One thing I loved in the states was getting a BIG FAT DIET COKE with lots of ICE! We'll send some ice trays! December 9, 2008 at 2:24 PM. December 18, 2008 at 12:36 PM. WE DO have ice cube trays! Heather's Happenings: May 2008

http://www.heatherspost.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Stop and Smell the Sunsets. I had about 35 minutes until the sun said farewell. I watched families pick up sea shells and tourists take pictures of each other in front of the sunset. I watched the birds dive for their evening meal, felt the wind on my face, smelled the smell of ocean. What is it about the "smell" of the ocean? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Heather's Happenings: November 2008

http://www.heatherspost.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 23, 2008. It's Sunday evening and we just returned from a fun filled weekend visiting our future city of residence, Jyvaskyla. We met with a supporting church and Jason shared about our plans for the church plant. The Finnish church was warm and welcoming. We stayed with a WONDERFUL couple from the church who plan to be part of the church plant. You can't go in your bathing suit, you're living in Finland now! Do as the FINNISH do! I was shortly reminded that God has sent us and weather w...

Allowing God to unfold my life one petal at a time. Monday, March 31, 2008. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sometimes we live so close to our spouse that we fail to see him as others do; we only see our husband's faults. But take a step back. Perhaps he is growing spiritually in ways you have failed to appreciate. How can you encourage his growth in a fresh, new way? Can you identify an area of spiritual strength in your husband? Does he go to church with you?

http://unfoldingarose.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Allowing God to unfold my life one petal at a time. Tuesday, August 19, 2008. What can I say? August has been busy, thus far. Movie nights at church(lots of people sitting under the California stars watching a movie), skating parties, potlucks, camping trips, etc. We also tried making s'mores with chocolate chip cookies and Reese's cups. The Saturday of our campout was different, since a couple of our families and Mikaija went down the hill to a farewell party for the kid that has been the intern for mid...

You know conflicting feelings that I'm having a hard time coming to terms with. Anyway, I know God has not forsaken me, and for whatever His purpose is, I have to go through all of this.
