John Muir Trail 2006. I am participating in the Camp Sunrise Hike for Cancer, a fundraising program that supports Camp Sunrise. An American Cancer Society. Summer camp for children living with cancer. This year's Camp Sunrise Hike for Cancer event leads us to Rainier National Park for a 100 mile hike along the Wonderland Trail. And a summit attempt of Mt. Rainier. You can get involved. This program (started in 1999 by Owen McCarty. Has raised more than $8000 for Camp Sunrise. And Pacific Crest Trail.
