It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world. But today it's my world. I've been messing with my blog, as you can see. I messed it up (arrggghhh) and am still trying to fix it. We found a house to rent, finally. I have the kids halfway enrolled in school: 1 1/2 hours to fill out paperwork, 1 1/2 hours for the kids to take placement tests. Tomorrow I will meet with all three schools to sign each child up for classes (probably another 1 1/2 hours at. For another 4 1/2 hours total). Share your two cents.

It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world. But today it's my world. These are my two fabulous sons. We bought them suits this summer and I think they look quite handsome. They are both nearly the same size despite a four year difference in age. And they are both almost as tall as I am. All the priests in our ward wear suits, or at least a jacket, to bless the sacrament. Now Toby fits right in and looks so handsome. A funny thing happened this morning when Isaac put on his suit. The pants were nearly too short!

It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world. But today it's my world. End of the year.finally. With the end of the school year comes all the concerts. Hazel participated in a dance camp over at the high school. They got to perform for the dance team's spring concert. Hazel danced to "Party in the USA". She was so excited and had so much fun! She did a fabulous job. Tuesday, December 23, 2008. We are in Vegas. Eliza did wonderfully on the drive down. (It helps to stop at great grandma's half way there.) We went caroling to the neighbors yesterday, watched a bunch of Christmas movies (and non-Christmas movies), ate caramel, doughnuts, and hot chocolate. And we bid on the class baskets but thankfully lost (I did not bring cash but I wanted our kids to think we are high rollers). A week before Halloween we carved pumpkins and the kids did really well. Derek's pumpkin is too cute. It looks just like him. He sat there never made a peep and carved it alone with out any help. I love how cool all the pumpkins turned out. It's a Madsen Thing. The Mess With Divorce. Divorce is a terrible thing. A marriage should never have to end in divorce. I understand that there are certain circumstances where it is better for a marriage to end, but if these situations can be avoided in any way possible, a couple should do everything they can to keep their marriage strong and alive. There are many costs of divorce. Divorce is costly; it is expensive to terminate a marriage and it is a long and tedious process. There are feelings of loss.
