Wednesday, November 2, 2011. There's so much that's different this time around than when I had Jordan. Well, the big one was the delivery, obviously. Conversation has come up again. My thinking is that shorter hair will be faster to style. Right now, I barely have time to put makeup on, let alone style this monsterous mane of mine. It literally takes me an hour to do my hair. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Good morning. I've been awake since 3 am And here it is 6 am with nary a sleepy bone in my body. Over the past week or so, I've had the worst bout of insomnia. Everyone says it's because my body is gearing itself up to be woken up every two hours when the baby comes, but I think it's because I have too much on my mind. I mean hello? The date is set for Tues, Sept 6 and all I can think about is "I hope I can make it that long. Come on body, don't fail me now! Waking up at 3 am.

Saturday, September 3, 2011. Vanity is thine name. We have three more days before d-day. How appropriate that my delivery date is the day after Labor Day. Yesterday, I went in for my pre-op. Normally, it's done the day before, but seeing as how my c-section is scheduled for the day following a holiday, it had to be done the Friday before. They took some blood, checked my vitals, took more blood, gave me instructions for the big day, and took even more blood. Did I mention they took blood? G at 37 weeks.

Monday, September 5, 2011. So here we are, the day before d-day. Only a few hours to go. Today is Labor Day, but we hardly did any labor around the house. I mostly took it easy. And remarkably, I haven't had any anxiety attacks. About the most stressful thing we did was head to IHOP this morning for breakfast. Thursday, September 1, 2011. Here we are at the 38th week marker. Normally, being 38 weeks pregnant doesn't mean anything significant, except in my case, it marks the week that I had Jordan. It also marks the week I had my seizure. I've been petrified of reaching this milestone since I found out I was pregnant. It's crazy to think that next week, I'll be having this baby. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. This year Jon and I and some friends did the Imogene Pass Run. This run is 17 miles long and your elevation reaches up to 13,100 ft. This was the craziest run I have ever done. It was hard, beautiful and so nice to be with friends. Posted by Gina and Jon.
