Bringing history alive as we continue our San Diego adventures. Spring flowers, leaves and end of life options. A Rio Grande turkey interlude →. April 15, 2015. https://historysafariexpresso.wordpress.com/2015/05/10/ocean-gleanings
Bringing history alive as we continue our San Diego adventures. A Rio Grande turkey interlude. A crow and squirrel interlude →. May 10, 2015. We can see the Pacific Ocean from our house on the San Diego coast but we can not hear or see its waves. So to round out our camping season, we pull our Airstream Safari on a 45-minute drive up the coast to South Carlsbad State Beach where we join the squirrels in watching and listening to the soothing, continuous waves. The ocean sustains life, such as the Whimbrel.
