I am Not Just the Lunch Lady. March 29, 2012. I read a friends blog tonite that made me really stop and think about my position in life right now. Her words were so honest and fearlessly said. She wrote about being stuck. I admire her courage to say what she did out loud. I am hoping now she will be able to move one foot forward and continue her journey. I am Not Just the Lunch Lady. My home is filled with love. July 4, 2012. Family arrived safe and sound tonite. So filed with gratitude and love. I am in heaven’. Good Night my friends and loved ones. July 3, 2012. I have visitors coming tomorrow. 4 of my favorite guys and one great woman. My son and his wife are braving holiday traffic with my grand children to come visit us. 14 hours on the road with a 17 year old, a 3 year old and 10 month old. I am Not Just the Lunch Lady. School meals are Changing. June 30, 2012. Tomorrow is July 1st. It is the day that many school districts have been panicked about. It’s big change for some and not so big for others. The Healthier Hunger Free Act goes into effect. That means children will have plenty of fruits and vegetables to choose from every week. All students will be required to take at least 1/2 cup of fruit or vegetable in order to be eligible to receive a reimbursable meal. To all that think of me.
