About – Mrs. Middlejoy and the Church Mice
http://mrsmiddlejoy.com/about
I first heard Carol of the Mice as I was writing Father Churchmouses Christmas Eve service in chapter seven of MIDDLEJOY AND THE MINISTERS CAT. Evidently, it is a traditional mouse hymn, sung in four part harmony by all mice every year at Christmas time. Who knew? The mice have been asking me to let them sing it for our readers for over a year. I began wondering if they knew any other Christmas songs. I hurried to scribble down these new words, and gathered the mice together to record them. For helping m...

Carol of the Church Mice. There must have been mice in the stable that night. When the Lord of All was born. Maybe Joseph made sure to clear away. A nest of mice from the manger hay. That Mother Mary might gently lay. Her Babe there on Christmas morn. There must have been mice in the fields that night. When the angel told the sheep. And the shepherds who watched them) not to fear. For there was joyful news to hear. As glory shone round and heaven drew near. With a song of Love and Peace. Just get an old ...

My eBooks (including excerpts). Newer posts →. Another FREE eBook Giveaway. May 17, 2015. Time to share a free eBook again! It’s been a long winter. I’m so ready for sunshine and outdoor fun. The Robert Louis Stevenson poem, Bed in Summer. Comes to mind, as it almost always does, when I think about the change from the darkness of winter to the longer days of summer light. And that reminds me of little ones, exhausted from play, resisting nap time, because it’s too nice to go to sleep. May 24, 2014. Usual...

I Stopped Eating in Response to Stress – Weight Loss Success
https://weightlossweblogsch.wordpress.com/2015/07/17/i-stopped-eating-in-response-to-stress
With Susan Call Hutchison. I Stopped Eating in Response to Stress. Wednesday was Day Ten of my 21-Day Weight-loss Challenge. I didn’t blog about day 10 yesterday–some stress in the house. Don’t worry, Dad’s okay. But he needed some extra looking after last night, that involved staying up with him until past 2:00 am. It was a great time to observe that some thought patterns kicked in, but I didn’t let my behavior follow. Waiting for the home health nurse, I wanted the “comfort” of food. July 17, 2015.

This year we are asking students to give a home-made gift that they have participated in the making thereof. The cost of materials is to be not more than $3. Due to the bad economy. This cost does not include items you already have (maybe you already have the paints, crochet hooks, thread, or some beads left over from a previous craft). All gifts are to be labeled "To a Boy" if you have a son or "To a Girl" if you have a daughter and are to be delivered by. In the past, some of the gifts given were:.
