Musings of Alice: Norwich Adventures

http://www.musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2008/05/norwich-adventures.html

Friday, May 02, 2008. Last weekend I went to see my lovely sister in Norwich, where she is studying at Art College. I had never been to Norwich before so I took plenty of photos. So here, as I have not posted pictures in rather a long time, are some images of last weekend. Laura by the river on way to lunch. Norwich FC were playing at home that day so there were lots of people wearing the canary yellow strip in the pub. The posh seats. they don't look any more comfortable than your average joe's pew.

Musings of Alice: The Soggiest Office in All the Land...

http://www.musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2008/05/soggiest-office-in-all-land.html

Wednesday, May 28, 2008. The Soggiest Office in All the Land. Is suite 1, Woodside House in Eastleigh. Today the weather is, frankly, rubbish again and it is now easy to work out how the ceiling tiles came to be so sodden and collapse in. It is basiacally raining indoors, not all that far away from me, and as already mentioned, the wiring in this place is not too hot. Now, the. Everywhere else in the building is totally dry, but I wonder how much worse it has to get before someone sorts it out. This make...

Musings of Alice: We Have Moved!

http://www.musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2008/05/we-have-moved.html

Wednesday, May 21, 2008. I want to put up pictures, but cant yet, as the internet at the new flat will not be working for another week or so. Yes, Kieran and I have moved flats. It's marvelous. Armed with a packet of antibacterial wipes and a jay cloth. Yes, my behaviour while cleaning can be rather eccentric but the job gets done. All we need to do now is change a lightbulb and re-hang the ends of the curtains (and pelmet.yuch.I hate pelmets.useless fabric abominations! Posted by Alice @ 5:18 AM. I'm Al...

Musings of Alice: May 2007

http://www.musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Plugging the Zimmers again. Because I heard on Radio2 this morning that they are going to America to be guests on a show with George Cloony as the other guest. Go Zimmers! The lead singer is 90 years old, and the group has a combined age of nearly 3000. They've had nearly 2,000,000 viewings on Youtube so lets get even more. The oldies are fighting back and I'm really very glad that they are.I hope I get to record a rock classic when I'm 90! Posted by Alice @ 2:12 AM. Can I just say.

Musings of Alice: The Cake Conundrum

http://www.musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2008/05/cake-conundrum.html

Saturday, May 03, 2008. Today I felt like baking a cake but I don't have any weighing scales, so I guessed. And I think I did pretty well. However, the cake did something no other cake in the history of cakes has done. I've made cakes that sunk in the middle before, because of over eagerness to take them out of the oven. But this one did the oposite. Can anyone tell me why? If this cake doen't taste good I'll eat my hat! Cake) Which means I'll eat it anyway I guess! Any suggestions, please comment. Two w...

We All Love Excel Saga: Apple iPods...

http://weallloveexcelsaga.blogspot.com/2008/04/apple-ipods.html

We All Love Excel Saga. Listen and learn ignorant masses! Wednesday, April 16, 2008. I've had my iPod nano 2g for less than a year and a half (just long enough to be out of warranty). A few days ago I noticed it had a white scree, but was still playing, I switched it off thinking it'd sort itself out, but no. Anyway I researched it on t'internet and discovered that it's actually a recurring problem with all iPods and apparently Apple just shrug their shoulders and say try a reset. We All Love Excel Saga: Tragedy!

http://weallloveexcelsaga.blogspot.com/2007/11/tragedy.html

We All Love Excel Saga. Listen and learn ignorant masses! Wednesday, November 28, 2007. So I carried the little garden gnome all the way throught the game with me, only occasionally using him as a handy projectile. When eventually I got to the rocket, I was sad to leave him, and contemplated taking him with me to the end of the game rather than firing him into space. However I eventually gave in and shoved him in the rocket as you can see. T'was a sad day indeed. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

We All Love Excel Saga. Listen and learn ignorant masses! Saturday, July 28, 2007. Okay let's get this back in order. First off sorry for the lack of updates. To be honest I haven't even been reading everyone's blogs lately, which is really unforgiveable. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up tomorrow. The flight back was interesting as the pilot had to abort the first landing attempt, luckily he made it on the second go. So there you have it - the month in under 300 words. We All Love Excel Saga. Listen and learn ignorant masses! Thursday, August 21, 2008. I've been inspired to do another post sharing some of my favourite (and not so favourite) 80's educational videos with you all. So without further ado:. He writes numbes in the sand and helps out his mentally challenged freind "little Juan". Catchy theme :). 4) Square One TV. This one's a bit of a consolation video, as I haven't been able to find the Square Girl area song I was looking for, but this one will do. This...

We All Love Excel Saga. Listen and learn ignorant masses! Friday, April 06, 2007. Moving with the times. As you all can hopefully see the blog has moved past the present and into the future - today, with this incredible facelift. Although there were some casualties during the grand unification and purging process hopefully most of the functionality has remained. I took the opportunity to update the countdown system and eliminate some links that were no longer useful. Ha ha, actually all the Sony ps3 hati...

Musings of a librarian. If only my thoughts were as logical as the Dewey Decimal System. Saturday, October 14, 2006. Ok, I am going to stop being indecisive and move to WordPress. I feel disloyal [to a blog! Help, I really do have an over-developed sense of responsibility], but I can't have two blogs on the go at the same time, and WordPress won, despite some trouble with images, which I hope will sort itself out. So, from now on I'll be posting under the guise of Bookmouse. Wednesday, October 11, 2006.

Once it was broken, once it had a puncture wound, once it was cut to almost the bone, and, now, he won't stop chewing it for some reason.
