University let me learn, without making me feel put upon to be "educated". Now the world of work beckons, or at least I hope it does otherwise I'm gonna be stuck for answers, and rent, and food come to that! Maybe I'll try drinking more coffee. More anon dear folk. Musings of Alice: How do you turn a duck into a Soul singer?...
http://musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2008/05/how-do-you-turn-duck-into-soul-singer.html
Wednesday, May 28, 2008. How do you turn a duck into a Soul singer? Put it in the microwave until it's Bill Withers. Some amazing things pass as jokes when you work with this many men. Posted by Alice @ 8:16 AM. Hmm, should that be "until its Bill Withers"? Mmmm I did query the punctuation. but gave up rather quickly. You're probably right. :o). Musings of Alice: Norwich Adventures
http://musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2008/05/norwich-adventures.html
Friday, May 02, 2008. Last weekend I went to see my lovely sister in Norwich, where she is studying at Art College. I had never been to Norwich before so I took plenty of photos. So here, as I have not posted pictures in rather a long time, are some images of last weekend. Laura by the river on way to lunch. Norwich FC were playing at home that day so there were lots of people wearing the canary yellow strip in the pub. The posh seats. they don't look any more comfortable than your average joe's pew.

Musings of Alice: The Soggiest Office in All the Land...
http://musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2008/05/soggiest-office-in-all-land.html
Wednesday, May 28, 2008. The Soggiest Office in All the Land. Is suite 1, Woodside House in Eastleigh. Today the weather is, frankly, rubbish again and it is now easy to work out how the ceiling tiles came to be so sodden and collapse in. It is basiacally raining indoors, not all that far away from me, and as already mentioned, the wiring in this place is not too hot. Now, the. Everywhere else in the building is totally dry, but I wonder how much worse it has to get before someone sorts it out. This make...

Musings of Alice: We Have Moved!
http://musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2008/05/we-have-moved.html
Wednesday, May 21, 2008. I want to put up pictures, but cant yet, as the internet at the new flat will not be working for another week or so. Yes, Kieran and I have moved flats. It's marvelous. Armed with a packet of antibacterial wipes and a jay cloth. Yes, my behaviour while cleaning can be rather eccentric but the job gets done. All we need to do now is change a lightbulb and re-hang the ends of the curtains (and pelmet.yuch.I hate pelmets.useless fabric abominations! Posted by Alice @ 5:18 AM. I'm Al...

Musings of Alice: The Cake Conundrum
http://musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2008/05/cake-conundrum.html
Saturday, May 03, 2008. Today I felt like baking a cake but I don't have any weighing scales, so I guessed. And I think I did pretty well. However, the cake did something no other cake in the history of cakes has done. I've made cakes that sunk in the middle before, because of over eagerness to take them out of the oven. But this one did the oposite. Can anyone tell me why? If this cake doen't taste good I'll eat my hat! Cake) Which means I'll eat it anyway I guess! Any suggestions, please comment. Two w...

Musings of Alice: October 2006
http://musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 23, 2006. Terry Wogan the god of Morning Radio. Well, now. I get up at 7:30am and put on the Radio for company. It's BBC radio 2's Wake up to Wogan show. As a result I laugh like a loon every morning and find it impossible not to dance as I'm trying to get dressed. it makes the whole process that little bit more complicated, in a good way! Children In Need is coming up soon. Which is always a joy. I do think Wogans a great man, for all his strange Irish ramblings. Posted by Alice @ 5:45 AM.

I'm sure we could win a coffee shop competition though. Southampton/Great Chesterford, Hampshire/Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. The Joy of Local News.

Musings of Alice: February 2007
http://musingsofalice.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 23, 2007. Embarrassing Myself Yet Again. So I share it with you all. This. Is the most pointless video ever. Me and Paul were demonstrating how the macarena fits to everything, even when sitting down! Makes for horrible over movement of the upper body. This is one of those Youtube videos no one wants to see! I'm going to Bath this weekend. Yey! Posted by Alice @ 5:34 AM. Wednesday, February 21, 2007. Minster FM seventh circle of hell.
